Hi everyone, love the website! I am planning to hike the Long Crossing of the Lofoten Islands in reverse this summer. I will be accompanied by my sister for half of the trip and after section 5 we will hike to Stamsund, where I will drop her off at the ferry. As the ferry leaves quite late, I would prefer to sleep in or near the town. Paying for a camping ground or a hostel would be fine, but the only hotel I have found in Stamsund is already fully booked for the night months in advance!
Do you have any advice? Is it easy to find a wild camping spot near the town?
