Hi All,

I will be staying in Lofoten Island for 3 days early April and was wondering if it was possible to hike up Reinebringen.

I was not able to find the information about winter hike and do apologise if this has been asked before.

Would I need to use crampons ? and is it possible to hire crampons in Reine?

Any additional information would be appreciated.

Kind Regards

Lan - Australia

Hei Lan,

I will strongly advise you not to do this climb in winter. It is already far to dangerous in summer and you can have much better view in many other points with out risking you life for it.

Have a safe trip to the Lofoten

Hei,

Basically this site is there to serve this purpose ;)

Just have a look at the walks which have a snowshoes pictogram.http://www.rando-lofoten.net/images/randos/Logos/raquettes_logo_p.png

You can normaly stay overnight in the Munkebu hut but you have to book though the local DNT https://lofoten.dnt.no/

have a nice trip in the Lofoten
