Hello All,
I'm currently planning a Lofoten trip for the summer and was just wanting to get some local information...
From what I can tell it there are no paths crossing Helvetestinden/Kammen and it wouldn't be possible to walk from Vindstad to Kjerkfjorden. Is this true? It would be nice to be able to walk that stretch but I suspect it won't be possible. I'm guessing the best option would be the ferry to Kjerkfjorden. Is this the case?

There is no safe path to do that. They have already been 3 accidents in this sector since the beginning of this year (two of them deadly). We strongly advise you to take the boat...

I thought that might be the case - thanks for confirming that! We will indeed take the boat, I'm guessing that it should be easy enough to get the ferry from Vinstad to Kjerkfjorden?
