Hi everyone, I'd like to know if it is possible to hike from Sorvagen to Munkebu hut late april, early may.
If it's possible do that, would I need to use crampons or snowshoes?
I'm planning to hike there to take some pictures (no climbing at all), camp (I do have a great 4 season tent and a -10c rated sleeping bag), and get down back to Sorvagen early in the morning.
I would appreciate any tips!

Yes it is possible to hike to Munkebu (and even Munken summit) in April/May, you will just need to use small crampon on your hiking boots and maybe a pair of walking pole.
Temperature during the night can still be cold but a -10°C sleeping bag and a proper camping mat should do it.

Thank you so much David, i was affraid it was not possible to hike there at this time of the year.
Would you have any other hike with nice views around that area that i could do? (1 day round trip hikes)

Yes, Veinestinden is a fantastic hike with an even better view then Munken, it is possible to hike there on winter too.
