Long crossing North to South

I am looking to do the long hike from North to South. I intend to follow your route. I will be arriving in Svolvaer. I will be doing the route suggested in "hiking the Lofoten Islands" by Sourys/Brede.

1) How do I get from Solvaer to Delp?
2) Is the route marked, i.e. are the trails well traveled so finding the path not too difficult?
3) Were you camping for 11 days? or did you occasionally stay in small hotels/rooms/refuges?
4) Did you camp in campsites or on the land?
5) Did you use a GPS?
