Hi,
in 2012 when I was hiking in Lofoten, there was a event/competition for hikers (both locals and tourists) called "top ten peaks" on the Austvagoya island. You bought a competitors paper sheet in Sport 1 shop in Svolvaer (and I guess also in the other shops), went up 10 selected hikes (Matmora, Blatinden etc.) and pierced the paper sheet on the mountain top. If you had all 10, you could even win something but obviously the biggest prize was that you took part 
I asked on lofoten.info and it will probably be held also this year. Do you know if one can take part in something similar in Moskenesoya or Flakstadoya? Or maybe some other motivating competitions?

I don't know about anything in Moskenesoya (they are not very active there 
).
But on Flakstadoya there has been a 10 peaks contest: "10 på topp" (you need to go on 10 sumits) in 2014, and it will be possible in 2015 as well. You can find some info in Norwegian on this page (try to contact them, see email at the bottom of the page):
