When you get to the little port of Stamsund, where the Hurtigruten line ships call, it’s difficult to believe that a fantastic hike starts only a few hundred metres away! The route, which requires a good head for heights in certain places, takes us from peak to peak on a trail that follows a very jagged mountain ridge. Throughout this hike high up in the mountains, which requires a certain degree of skill, the unobstructed outlook means you have great panoramic views over Vestfjord and the entire large island of Vestvågøya
